Whenever someone comments 'you're the man!' as a means to tell someone they have done something positive, I always tell them they are incorrect: Amanda Bynes star of 'She's the Man' has been pegged as 'the man'.
Alas this generally leads to a long-winded explanation since not many of my friends have seen or heard of this film.
