I was thinking about you today because I listened to another song about walking 500 miles and then walking 500 more. Did you know that someone already 'proclaimed' that they would walk 1,000 miles back in 1993, ten years before you.
I think to show you meant it more you should have walked 1,000 miles and then at least one more mile.
Also, your song appears to say that you'd walk a thousand miles in one night to see someone. Well, I just wikipedia'ed you and apparently you ran the New York Marathon in 2005. Apparently you didn't break any records, so this whole walking a thousand miles in one night seems out of the question.
Lastly, I am glad to listen to music that allows me to experience deep thoughts like the ones I listed above.

Did you see the current Vanessa Carlton picture on the Wikipedia site? Age has not been kind to her. Perhaps that picture was taken after she walked her 1000 miles.
