So the other day on Jeff's blog there was a post with Jeannie and the 'Little House On the Prairie' opening. I do not remember a good deal about the show, BUT I do remember the youngest daughter would run down during the opening credits/theme song and hilarity would always ensue. I specifically remember my friend and me at the age of five just watching the opening to the show, just for this very reason.
This is something I could still watch at anytime and I could get a kick out of. Please watch this video from at least :33 second mark to the :43 second mark. I hope you laugh like I do.
I think I find this so funny today, because I imagine the director telling this little girl to just run down the hill, knowing full well that she was going to fall. They stuck her in brush that was taller than her. I do not think there was any chance of that girl making it down the hill without falling. I imagine everyone on the set laughing at that poor girl. Do you think the director saw her fall and thought...'This will be perfect for the opening credits!'?
To this day I imagine her only claim to fame is being the girl that fell in the opening credits of the 'Little House On the Prairie' theme song.
